The giant sequoia tree is a tree found on the western slopes of the Sierra Nevada mountains in California. Giant sequoias are the worlds largest trees. They grow to an average height of 50-85meter and up to 6-8m in diameter.
The oldest known giant sequoia is around 3,500 years old! Known as some of the oldest living things on earth.
